About us

We are a group of young poultry enthusiasts that were drawn together because of our love for poultry keeping as a hobby. Our group boasts an enormous diversity of poultry spanning from tiny bantam chickens and quail to large Jersey giants, ducks, pheasants and peafowl.

 

We gather together about once a month to keep updated on what has been happening around everyones coops and learn from each others experiences.

 

We create materials to inform the public about birds, eggs and poultry keeping and are making it our mission to increase the awareness of the enjoyment of this hobby to others (especially youth).

 

We are embarking on more public events including poultry shows and sales. We are gaining great planning, organizing, and public speaking skills.

 

The best and most important thing about our group is that we have fun!

 

The Youth Algoma Poultry Association is open to anyone who has an interest in learning about poultry- All ages; whether you have birds or are just looking for some awesome poultrytastic fun!
